Moonshine?


When our grandson was about 12 (he's now 16), he spotted similar jars of  homemade hummingbird food in our refrigerator.

"Grandma," he asked, "why do you have moonshine in your refrigerator?"

How did this child even know there was such a thing as moonshine?

    Maybe those moonshiner TV shows clued him in. It does LOOK like moonshine! LOL

    Haha! That is funny. I too suspect it is from a television show. Especially if you may have one of the "oldies" channels like MeTv or some such channel that shows old Westerns.

    I apologize I have been away for a while. I have had very low energy, unfortunately.

    I learnt about moonshine when I was a child from "The Waltons" thanks to the Baldwin sisters! ;b
