During my week at the hospital, I spent a lot of time contemplating my wrist band. Name, admission date, admitting doctor's name, birth date. Over in the corner: "WAH."  What was this? An indication of my emotional state at the time of admission? On Day Six, the light dawned. WAH = Washington Adventist Hospital.

Sorry it has taken me a couple of days to say anything. Life has been nuts since Tuesday when I lost my cell phone in Pittsburgh. Didn't sleep at all Tuesday night. Chatted with Lindy via Facebook. Tried to sleep last night but that wasn't very successful either. Was gone all day today to Pittsburgh but have it back. YEA!

Also been busy trying to prepare the various cat shelters for the felines. Hope they will be ok. 14 at the moment.

Anyhow. So sorry you fell! Hope you have enough oxy to keep you smiling for awhile.

How do you deal with a broken femur? A huge cast? Total confinement to bed for a long while?

You might follow Lindy's adventures in Wuxi.

If you haven't read them, get the Liturgical Mysteries. Start with The Alto Wore Tweed. Wander around in the website too. Lots to look at and laugh.

Need more suggestions for distraction?
